2,986 lives were ended early when terrorists attacked the World Trade Centers. America has sent its troops throughout the world in an effort to prevent future attacks by destroying the infrastucture of terrorist organizations. More than 1,100 more Americans have died in this effort. If the death toll continues to rise and if it surpasses the lives lost in the WTC attacks will the war in Iraq be worth it? Will we prevent future attacks?

I hope so. It had better be worth it.
