I’ve been around town and from what I’ve seen so far, the traffic isn’t all that bad. I thought that I would be extremely limited with my housing options when it came to picking a place to live solely on the basis of traffic. I’ve been here, there, and everywhere else so far and most of the places look the same. I’m going to check out two more that are right in the middle of downtown tommorow… lets face it, if I live in an apartment building in the middle of nowhere I probably won’t meet all that many new people. If I live where lots of people live I might have the opportunity to make some new friends.
There is a bit of a crime thing that is a problem here in town but if you stay away from certain areas you should be all in the clear. Lets hope that regardless of where I might live I won’t have to worry about it all that much. In the past, I only had to worry about some punks breaking into my car to steal the crap that I left behind. Now I’ve got people that want to take my car and sell it… what is this world coming to?
The base has been fine so far and everybody that I’ve met seems extremely nice… it should be a great place to live and work. Now I know why so many people hang around here for as long as they can.
