For the last few weeks we’ve been having PT in the morning. For the last few years I’ve been doing PT in the afternoon. I don’t deal with mornings well in the first place but now I have to be physically involved right after I wake up. I remember doing PT first thing in the AM when I was in basic training and some of the same things that bothered me about morning PT then still hold true today. Mostly, its the first thing in the morning and I’m not quite awake yet. Who wants to run around and wear yourself out first thing in the morning and then have the rest of the day after that. I barely wake up in the morning and time is limited so I only take a shower when I get out of bed or when I get home from work. If I do PT in the AM I’m going to smell for the rest of the day… and it really doesn’t bother me. The other thing that bothers me is that I have almost no energy because I haven’t eaten in hours. Most of the time its been about 10-12 hours since I had last eaten. If I try to eat first thing in the AM and then go run around like a fool my stomach is less than happy with me. So, the choices are: feel like passing out from low blood sugar or feeling like leaving everything you ate on the pavement
