I love people that exude passion. I love that they care about someone or something so much that they will fight for it. These people will go home at the end of the day and loose sleep over an argument. They think about new ways of doing things just because they believe they can make a difference. They stand defiant in the face of adversity and will take on any foe.
Of course, people with passion can have a detrimental impact on your day if they are your boss. They may have the same goals as you might but they want to go about it in a completely different way. They may see things differently from you and think that the only way a process can work is in its current incarnation. They believe their work is the epitome of excellence and that it cannot improve or that it shouldn’t improve.
People with passion tend to clash… often. But, I’m glad to know we’re all working for the same thing. We’re all living for the same thing. We all want to make a difference and make things work better… or just plain work.
