The invincible MRAP

I received some amazing pictures of a MRAP that got hit by an IED. The truck hit a 500 pound explosive device - all occupants were able to walk away from the truck. The only injury to the occupants was to the driver who broke a few ribs on the steering wheel. The truck was thrown into the air and rotated 180 degrees by the explosive device

The engineering on the MRAP is cool as hell and it did exactly what it was supposed to - it saved the lives of US soldiers.

Looks like the rear end flew - a few feet

Look Ma! No engine!

No front wheels remained after the blast

Its just a scratch, tis nothing more than a flesh wound

Notice the lack of a drive shaft

It looks a little bent

Yeah, I don't think that hole is supposed to be there

I found the engine!

Edit - found out this happened last year and that it has been previously posted on I guess I was a little behind on this one - oh well

    All MRAPS are not created equal. This truck was manufactured by Force Protection, undeniably the best MRAP manufacturer in the world.
