Last weekend we spent a few days camping.

We weren’t exactly roughing it as we had almost everything a person might need… well, save for the things that we forgot. Luckily, we were only 10 miles down the road from a tourist trap town and 50 miles down the road from a decent sized town. Next time I’m sure that we won’t forget as much as we did this time. We learned a few lessons (don’t buy firewood from the locals) and learned that you can take wood that you find as long as its less than 10in in diameter. So… next time we need to bring an axe… I took a few photos while we were out there along with a few videos. I’ll try to get the vids later.

As you can tell from the photos, we both had fun.

I’ve been back home for the past couple of days hanging out with my family. The girlfriend has been with me and for the most part we’ve been having fun. I had to deal with reality for the first time when I took my dad to his chemo and radiation treatments. I’ve been out of the loop for a while and it makes a convenient way to avoid what is going on. I’ve dealt with it now but its still not a cool thing. I’m glad that he’s only got until Monday and he is done with all of the bad stuff. Hopefully they’ll get it all on the first shot and he won’t have to go back for a second round.

We haven’t really done anything of note but it is Knoxville and there is only so much to do. I haven’t taken any photos because I left my camera behind and its sitting on my desk at home. I’ll be back to my normal routine on Monday so until then I’ll enjoy my time here and I’m going to eat as much food as I can… I love vacation

I decided to climb a very big hill today… Well, most wouldn’t even dare call it a hill but they probably would call it a mountain. I drove up to Mount Rainier today and took a few photos. While I was there I also recorded a few videos.

The sound gets bad in the end but I said something to the effect of : The bugs are insane even though I covered myself with DEET. I’m heading down the hill and not up the one thats covered with the snow.

We went to the Kwik E Mart in Seattle and took a few photos. I can’t wait to see The Simpsons movie. They were out of Krusty O’s but we did get some Buzz Cola. I was really hoping for some Duff beer but none was to be found. I did find a donut… mmm… donut… and it was quite good. Click the photo for the rest of the pics

I added some new photos to the gallery of the Mariners game last night. Jessica’s grandma was nice enough to provide tickets and let me fill one of the seats. I spent a chunk of money eating rather unhealthy but very tasty ballpark food. If you don’t have a strong gut you probably shouldn’t eat there. I think we are going to another game in a couple of weeks. It should be fun. You can check them out if you go to the gallery. They start on page six and continue for a couple of pages. I haven’t added any captions but you really don’t need them. Besides, writing all of the captions takes a whole lot of time and I’m just slightly lazy.

I’m not a big fan of posing for photos as I’m extremely unphotogenic. Most of the photos that I share are the ones left over after I’ve removed all of the bad pictures from the rotation. Recently, much to my dismay, we had family photos taken. I’ve only posted the ones that I thought were decent after somebody else had discarded all of the really bad photos. I’ve got a bunch of new photos that I’ve posted in the gallery. Its a whole bunch of picture from my work here at Sunny Point. I didn’t put in details because well, I’m not letting you know what each item is and where it was going. All you need to know is that we handled a whole bunch of stuff and thats about it… these are pictures of all of that stuff. Oh yeah, I’m incredibly un-photogenic so don’t hate. This photo is direct from space and its similarity to an American Indian is amazing. I was quite surprised to see this and find out that it wasn’t a hoax. This image is way better than the face on the planet mars.

On a completely separate note, I’ve decided on another tattoo that I’ll get before I leave here. One of the guys is a tattoo artist and doesn’t charge all that much for it. So, I’m going to get this one on either my right arm or my calf… location to be determined.

I have a camera but it rarely moves with me whenever I get into some sort of shenanigans… I’m not sure if some of my readers want to know what brand of shenanigans I get into but I’m going to try to bring it along for my upcoming weekend that should be one to remember (if the alcohol wears off). If you’re wondering, I’m drinking when I want to and not in an effort to hang out with others. I don’t feel angry at myself for drinking and I’ve only had one night when the effects of the booze got to me. I think I’ve got that monster licked.
